She was District Manager for Marriott Corporate Services in Omaha and Des Moines and worked in food service for Mutual of Omaha, Omaha Public School District, Nebraska School for the Deaf and Iowa State University. She was a member of MCC's Food Service Advisory Committee and began in the industry in an internship with Hot Shoppes in Washington, D.C. in 1954.

He was Chef at Fourquer's and Pres Catclanr in Paris, France, the Mansion in Dallas and the Sahara Tahoe. He organized the Omaha chapter of the American Culinary Association and was a winner of the Toque Rouge from the Wine and Food Society of England.

He is a member of the Honorable Order of the Golden Toque. He is the Owner and Chef of Papa Joe's in Hollywood, Calif., and was Chef at Rome, Chieftain, Blackstone and Fontenelle hotels in the Omaha area.
Raymond C. Matson

He founded and managed the Hilltop Restaurant from 1941 to 1979. He was twice President of the Omaha Restaurant Association and President of the Nebraska Restaurant Association. He served on the Douglas County Board of Health, the Omaha Public Power District Board and the Omaha Junior Chamber of Commerce Board.

He was President of the National Small Business Association and the National Macaroni Manufacturers Association. He received the National Catholic Education Association President's Award for Outstanding Service to Local Education and volunteered for many causes including the Omaha Junior Achievement, Omaha Youth Center and American Cancer Society.

The corporation began as Kwik Kafe and grew from a tiny business to a multi-state operation with more than 800 employees. His business has expanded into the related areas of catering, concession management and home-delivered meals for seniors. He received the Omaha Chamber of Commerce Golden Spike Award (1993) for his contributions to Omaha's economic stability and growth.
